LOGBOOK SERVICING

Logbook servicing happens at a particular time or kilometre interval, as specified by your car's manufacturer. The inclusions will vary depending on the make & model of your car. Generally speaking, this service includes:


  • Changing engine oil & oil filters
  • Inspecting & adjusting brakes
  • Checking the steering & suspension
  • Computer battery tests
  • Checking the tyre pressure, radiator hoses, fan belts & lights


A good rule of thumb is that you should have a logbook service every 6 months or 10,000km. Additionally, we provide out of warranty insurance checks from our Wollongong auto shop.

LPG INSPECTIONS

During an LPG inspection and service, your gas bottle is inspected on a number of factors. Things like the structural condition and the emergency pressure relief valve must be checked, and any worn components replaced.

This involves removing the tank from its place inside the vehicle and inspecting it from all angles. After the inspection, it will be reinstalled again, ready for use.

PINK SLIP AND BLUE SLIPS

Pink slips, or eSafety checks, are required for vehicles that are renewing registration to ensure that the vehicle is still safe to be on the road.


A blue slip, or authorised unregistered vehicle inspection, verifies that an unregistered vehicle is safe and in good condition. This is required before a vehicle can be registered in NSW.
